LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -“I wanna say it like it is, don’t take Tylenol,” said President Donald Trump.
That advice from Trump is aimed at pregnant women. His administration claims if you take Tylenol, also known as acetaminophen, there’s an increased chance your baby will have autism.
“There will be some women who needlessly suffer because they will have seen this in the news and will not want to take any chances as it relates to autism,” said Dr. Farhan Bhatti.
Acetaminophen, also known as Tylenol, is in the spotlight. The Trump administration claims if pregnant women take the over-the-counter drug, their baby will have a higher risk of autism.
