A press release from the University of Kansas Hospital stated a "potential security issue outside the Emergency Department" was handled by law enforcement Monday night.

No injuries were reported.

"Measures were taken to protect patients and staff while law enforcement investigated and resolved any concerns," the news release from the hospital stated.

No other information was released about the suspect in the incident or what that person did that caused law enforcement to be called.
