Monday's girls golf highlights: Minerva wins sectional title

EAGLESTICKS DIVISION I SECTIONAL: Peyton Beaumariage fired a 79 to earn medalist honors by one shot and help lead Minerva to the team title in the Division I sectional at EagleSticks. The Lions finished with 344, 11 strokes ahead of runner-up West Holmes. Carrollton’s Kaylee Russell came in seventh at 85 and qualified as an individual to next week’s district at Lancaster.
