WATERLOO — From the start, the Waterloo High boys soccer team felt it had a chance to be special this season.
And now, with each victory, the Bulldogs are starting to make believers.
"We knew we had a good group of guys coming back and that our team chemistry was really strong,'' junior defender Hudson Maddox said after the Bulldogs ran their record to 10-0-1 with a 2-0 victory over visiting Belleville West on Monday. "We go into each game believing that if we work hard and play together, we have a chance. And so far that approach is working great for us."
With Monday's loss, the Maroons slipped to 8-3.
