Political Climate felt in the Tri

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Emotions have been high over the past few weeks with the political climate of the country.

From the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk to the temporary removal of Late-Night Talk Show Host Jimmy Kimmel from broadcasting.

Locals say, it's been heated even in the Tri-State.

Jayna Russellburg says, "It goes without saying that what happened to an influence like that was horrible. It is condemnable what happened and that's the thing is that we all see the effects of gun violence. We all see the effects and the amping up of the effects of political violence."

Kentucky Congressman James Comer also agrees, stating that the political climate is too high in America.
