CONCORD — An injury to quarterback Brant Graham in the middle of the first quarter was a game-changer for West Rowan in a 32-19 loss at Concord.

“Brant got hit on the run,” West head coach Louis Kraft said. “He was out for a drive, went back in and threw a touchdown pass, but he just couldn’t go any more after that. We probably win by two scores with our quarterback, so it’s not an outcome our guys deserved. It can be a cruel game.”
