Abby Anemonen scored a hat trick for Caldwell as it took an early lead against Butler and lead the rest of the way en route to a 4-0 win in West Caldwell.

After scoring one goal in the opening quarter, Caldwell extended its lead with a goal in the second before tacking on two more tallies in the third quarter. Leila Siedler and Gia Preziotti each chipped in an assist while Eliza Lima made three saves to earn the shutout for Caldwell (5-1).

Butler drops to 3-2 and will look to get back in the win column on Friday when it hosts Westwood.
