Gwendolyn (Gwen) Jane Vieweg went to heaven on September 17, 2025, at 55 years old at her home in Morgantown, WV.

Gwen was born September 29, 1969, in Wheeling, WV where she attended Wheeling Country Day school and graduated from Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy in 1987. She continued her studies at West Virginia Wesleyan College as a proud Alpha Gamma Delta. She then pursued her love of early childhood education at West Virginia University.

Ms. Gwen spent the next 25 years loving on and laughing with her infants and coworkers at the WVU Child Development Center. Gwen had a beautiful soul full of joy, was always smiling, never met a stranger, and had an incredible ability to remember people and places.

Gwen was a very strong woman, overcoming breast cancer with a grace and resilience
