A 31-year-old man was critically injured after being shot several times Monday afternoon in Seattle’s South Delridge neighborhood.

The man was shot in the left arm and leg several times just before 3 p.m. in the 9400 block of 27th Avenue Southwest, Seattle police spokesperson Detective Brian Pritchard said.

The wounded man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

Officers found upward of 20 shell casings at the scene, from multiple calibers, Pritchard said. That suggests the shooter or shooters fired multiple guns.

As of Monday night, the person who shot the man was still at large, and no weapons had been recovered, police said.
