Charkop police in Kandivali West have registered two separate cases of murder over the weekend. The first one is a 25-year-old woman and the second one is a 70-year-old factory owner. Both incidents are under investigation.
First case
In the first case, 25-year-old Himendra Rana was found dead on September 20. She was allegedly killed by her 41-year-old husband, Dasa Rana. The couple lived in a shed at Ramvijay Co-op Society near Charkop Depot with their son, Paresh. Both husband and wife were daily wage workers. The family was staying near the construction site as the society was under redevelopment.
The case came to light when 56-year-old worker Lalppa Gundiwala from Dahisar West lodged a complaint. He said that he learnt Dasa had strangled his wife. When Gundiwala reached the house
