The parents of a tragic East Lothian youngster who sadly passed away last year have delivered over 100 toys to the hospital ward where their daughter spent most of her life.

Flora Gentleman was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma , a rare and aggressive cancer with a 50 per cent chance of long-term survival, at just two years old in 2021.

The six-year-old underwent years of treatment at the Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh and was enrolled in a vaccine trial in New York, but sadly relapsed in September 2023, reports The Daily Record.
