HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police and EMS responded to a pedestrian hit by a car on North School Street between Pohaku Street and Kokea Street on Monday.
EMS co-responded to a pedestrian who suffered critical injuries when she was apparently hit around 7 p.m.
The pedestrian, a 58-year-old woman, was given advanced life support at the scene and is on the way to an emergency room.
All lanes between Kokea Street and Pohaku Street are currently closed for the investigation.
Police ask the public to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
