Blue Hens on actual depth chart get last laugh in CUSA win at FIU

MIAMI – The Delaware depth chart available to the media for its football game at Florida International on Sept. 20 lightheartedly listed Joe Flacco as the Blue Hens’ starting quarterback. Rich Gannon was his backup.

The FIU communications department’s knowledgeable nod to two of Delaware’s best – Flacco later the Ravens’ Super Bowl MVP and Gannon the Raiders’ NFL MVP – was a clever if perhaps unprofessional protest at Delaware’s refusal this year to actually produce depth charts for media and fans to learn who is and might be playing.
