NORTH LOGAN — The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation announced $261,000 in community and environmental grants this month, with funding directed to 51 organizations across Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.

“This latest round of funding reflects a steadfast commitment to fostering resilient communities and protecting our natural landscapes,” said Dick Garlish, the foundation’s director and president of Rocky Mountain Power. “These organizations lift up our communities and protect our natural surroundings for future generations.”

Grants will support affordable housing, workforce training, ecosystem conservation, outdoor education and community revitalization projects.

In Utah, recipients included groups in Summit, Salt Lake, Utah, Weber, Washington, Grand, Sanpete, Carbon and Emery counties. Cache Cou
