At the end of a Pooler City Council meeting in June, Dominic D’Ottavio walked up to the podium during the public comment period to ask the council, and particularly, the mayor one simple question: Why?
Earlier that evening, the council voted 3-3, with Mayor Karen Williams casting the tie-breaking vote, to approve the first phase of the three-phase Tract W site development in a private, gated community. Phase one includes 55 townhomes of the total 172 units planned.
