American rapper Snoop Dogg has touched down at the MCG and was keen to get the footy in hand after joining a pair of Collingwood superstars on the hallowed turf.

The 53-year-old rapper landed in Melbourne on Monday ahead of his pre-game grand final performance this weekend and was keen to check out the venue where Pie brothers Josh and Nick Daicos were filming a photo shoot.

After chatting with the pair and receiving a few pointers, Dogg showed he is more than just a skilled lyricist, snapping a goal from the boundary, prompting loud celebrations from his entourage.

He then spoke with the pair beneath the stadium and signed autographs before departing with a ball in hand.
