The final rites were held at Kamarkuchi NC village, located on the outskirts of the state capital, Guwahati , on Tuesday. His body was brought to the cremation ground from the Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex, accompanied by a final procession attended by thousands of mourners.
