Hurricane Gabrielle may bring us some 'potentially strong winds and showers' next weekend, according to an update from the Met Office.
While Scots have seen some brighter, if chillier weather recently, the forecaster has warned that fallout from the coming hurricane may impact UK weather next weekend. The category three hurricane is currently spinning over the warm waters of the Atlantic, where winds speeds have increased to around 120mph, reports the Mirror.
The hurricane, which reached Bermuda yesterday and impacted the east coast of the US, is on course to cause havoc across the Atlantic, and between Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 5, Gabrielle is set to bring unsettled weather to our shores.
