Normal life was affected in Arunachal Pradesh’s West Kameng district on Tuesday as the All West Kameng District Students’ Union (AWKDSU) enforced a 24-hour bandh over the delay in the joining of transferred teachers.

The bandh, observed peacefully across the district, was called in protest against the failure of 11 out of 12 teachers, transferred to the district on July 20 to report for duty.
