HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Police departments across the state and even the country are sending well wishes to EPD's Officer Sam Taylor.

The Columbus, Indiana Police Department posted a message on social media, saying, "Please join us in showing support for Officer Taylor and his family as he recovers and thank him for his dedication and bravery."

The Indiana Fraternal Order of Police posted, "Please pray for the officer and keep their loved ones in your thoughts."

St. Joseph County Indiana Police says they are keeping Officer Taylor in their prayers.

A number of other agencies responded to the shooting, including the Yonkers, New York Police Department who liked a post honoring Taylor.
