Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible through the middle of the week for the Detroit area and its suburbs.

Some areas could see heavy rainfall. Storms today could also be packing winds to 40 mph.

But it will still feel warm, with temperatures topping out near 80 degrees in some parts of Southeast Michigan.

This morning, a dense fog advisory has been issued for Ann Arbor, Detroit and up into the base of The Thumb.
