SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Andrew Frazee, 32 from Garner, has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.

Frazee pleaded guilty on May 1 to the conspiracy charge involving over a pound of methamphetamine. He admitted that in November 2024, he and others planned to distribute the drug in Hancock County.

Law enforcement encountered Frazee on November 19, 2024, when they found his vehicle in a ditch in rural Hancock County. Authorities reported signs of impairment and detected the smell of marijuana. A search revealed 325 grams of methamphetamine, a smoking device, baggies, over $1,200 in cash, a scale, and marijuana.

Frazee confessed to purchasing and distributing large quantities of methamphetamine.
