Rapper NBA YoungBoy's concert in Chicago is being canceled by the venue.

The United Center announced early Tuesday, Sept. 23, that it had "made the decision to cancel" the next day's concert, but did not give a reason why. "If you purchased through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically," the venue wrote on its website regarding the Sept. 24 show. "If you purchased from a third-party reseller, please reach out to your point of purchase."

United Center provided the same statement to USA TODAY on Tuesday.

NBA YoungBoy has not commented on the cancellation publicly. USA TODAY has also reached out to his reps.

The 25-year-old rapper, also known as YoungBoy Never Broke Again, is currently on his first headlining tour, the 45-show MASA (Make America Slime Again) Tour.

The "Make No Sense" hitmaker announced his long-anticipated tour in May, days before President Donald Trump announced his pardon, while serving a 23-month sentence for federal gun charges. The tour is the "Untouchable" rapper's first in five years amid his legal troubles, including a 2018 assault and kidnapping, a 2019 assault and battery lawsuit, a 2019 shooting in Miami and the federal gun case for which he was sentenced in late 2024.

The tour kicked off Sept. 2 in Dallas, with additional stops in Los Angeles, Oakland, California and St. Louis. Videos from the shows have shown passionate fans, but the tour has seen no major incidents so far. The tour's next stops include Columbus, Ohio, Brooklyn, New York, Boston and Newark, New Jersey.

The tour wraps Nov. 12 in Seattle. The "Untouchable" rapper released his eighth studio album of the same name, "MASA," in July.
