With this week's announcement of the upcoming grand re-opening of Finlay Park on November 15, Columbia's human resources and parks and recreation departments are partnering to host a hiring event.
The event will take place this Wednesday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The first portion of the event will focus on park ranger and maintenance tech positions from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. The Columbia Police Department will be participating in the second portion of the event from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. with a focus on looking to hire class three officers.
On the spot interviews will be held during both time frames of the hiring fair, and offers may be provided to candidates. The hiring fair will take place at Busby Street Community Center, 1735 Busby Street in Columbia.
