Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday announced that he will propose an item to create a presidential library for Donald Trump near the Freedom Tower in Miami.

The proposal will be introduced at the next Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund meeting, which will take place on Sept. 30.

In his proposal, DeSantis said a 2.63-acre parcel at Miami-Dade College’s Wolfson Campus that is owned by the college would be the site for the presidential library.

Currently, the proposed site is used as an employee parking lot.
