JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. — Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies had a busy night Saturday. Five people were arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII)

Jackson County DUII Arrests

Alcohol was the contributing factor in four of Saturday night’s arrests, and drugs in one. The first two DUII arrests followed motor vehicle crashes, and the next three suspects were nabbed during traffic stops.

These drivers were arrested and lodged at the Jackson County Jail on DUII charges:

A single vehicle crashed into a ditch at 5:09 PM near the intersection of Antioch Road and Dodge Road in rural Central Point. There were no reported injuries, but the 34-year-old driver blew a breathalyzer test with a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of .20%, two and a half times the legal limit. Th
