Week after the All Khasi Meghalaya Tourist Taxi Association (AKMTTA) called off its indefinite strike in protest against Assam-registered vehicles operating in Meghalaya without coordination or restrictions, Deputy Chief Minister in charge of Transport Sniawbhalang Dhar, today held a meeting with the AKMTTA in Shillong, signalling a cautious but constructive step towards resolving the issue.
