INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is investigating a mass shooting that occurred early Sunday morning, September 21, in a parking lot next to a nightclub. The incident left two people dead and five others injured.
According to IMPD, officers responded to the 6800 block of Shore Terrace just after 2 a.m. on a report of a person shot. When they arrived, they found seven people with gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Two adult males were pronounced dead at the scene, and five other victims were transported to local hospitals or sought medical attention on their own.
