Budget bakery chain Greggs is set to open a pub serving booze alongside their classic bakes and sausage rolls. The Golden Flake Tavern in the Fenwick Newcastle department store will serve its first pint on Saturday.

Punters will be able to choose from two exclusive beers on draft – the Pink Jammie Pale Ale and the Gosforth 1939 Stottie Lager – which were developed by Newcastle-based Full Circle Brew Co special
