JD Sports is relocating one of its Kent branches to a bigger and better location this week - with goodies up for grabs in celebration of the launch. The sports and lifestyle retailer is moving its Maidstone store from Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre to a new, larger space in Week Street.

It will be taking over the former M&S womenswear store which shut in 2022 and has remained vacant in the years since. Set to open its doors on Thursday (September 25), the new JD unit features a five meter extension to the previous shopfront and an additional 3,290 sq ft of retail space.
