A heartfelt new video has seen children share the real reasons they look forward to going to school – from brass bands and bug clubs to making friends and building confidence.
The video, produced by Marine Academy Plymouth in collaboration with six other schools across St Budeaux and Ernesettle, highlights the benefits of school attendance and how it helps children thrive.
Featuring pupils, parents and staff, the clip explores themes of friendship, learning and fun, with students pointing to school clubs, classroom support and special events as major draws. Among the standout mentions were the Mini Police Club, brass band sessions, and a passion for staying on top of exam preparation.
