Phagwara (Punjab), September 24, 2025: In a landmark move towards citizen-centric governance, the Municipal Corporation, Phagwara has become the first civic body in Punjab to introduce a WhatsApp QR Code system for public grievance redressal.

Developed in collaboration with Softel Solutions, led by Kunal Sharma, the initiative enables residents to register complaints with unprecedented ease and speed.

With this system, citizens of Phagwara can now simply scan a QR code to directly log their grievances through WhatsApp. The process eliminates paperwork and delays, ensuring a quick, transparent, and accessible mechanism for every household.
