PANAJI: Amid allegations by Aldona MLA Adv. Carlos Alvares Ferreira that a sitting cabinet minister—referred to as the “Godfather General”—was behind the assault on social activist Rama Kankonkar, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant defended the ongoing police investigation.
