Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday alleged that a deep-rooted conspiracy was underway to destabilize the peaceful atmosphere of Tripura and cautioned alliance partners against indulging in lawlessness.Speaking to the media after visiting BJP Janajati Morcha Vice President Mangal Debbarma and journalist Kamal Krishna Jamatia at GB Pant Hospital, both of whom sustained injuries in an attack at Hejamara, the Chief Minister said, “We are aware of the few political people behind this conspiracy. Such blackmailing activities will not be tolerated.”

The assault took place on September 21 during a Seva Parv clothes distribution programme organized by BJP’s Shimna Mandal at Hejamara. Dr. Saha alleged that supporters of Tipra Motha carried out the unprovoked attack, leaving Mangal Debbarma
