Huntington’s disease, a severe and deadly brain disease, has been treated successfully for the first time. According to the BBC report, a new treatment has shown it can slow the disease by 75%, giving patients a chance at decades of “good quality life.” This disease runs in families, relentlessly kills brain cells, and has similarities to dementia, Parkinson’s, and motor neurone disease.
