LONDON, Ky. (WKYT) - Several people are hurt after an explosion at a Kentucky plant.

Emergency officials say it happened Wednesday morning, shortly after 7:00, at the Borden plant on West 80.

The emergency management director says a cleaning chemical barrel exploded.

Four people were taken to the hospital to be treated for various injuries, including one with a broken leg.

There was no structural damage to the building itself.
