JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Westbound I-94 traffic will close under Airport Road in Blackman Township for bridge repairs following damage from a high-load strike earlier this year.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will conduct the partial bridge demolition beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26 through 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, according to a press release from MDOT.
Drivers should expect delays, and alternate routes are advised.
MDOT additionally closed northbound Airport Road to replace the bridge beams. The road will reopen by 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15.
