DALLAS — Three people, including detainees, have been shot at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas and the shooter is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, federal authorities said.
During a Wednesday morning press conference, local and federal officials confirmed there were three people shot by the suspect - one of those victims was killed.
Federal officials stressed that no members of law enforcement were hurt in the attack, but they refused to confirm in the morning press conference that the victims were detainees.
The FBI did say that ammunition at the Dallas shooting scene contained anti-ICE messaging.
Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons confirmed the shooting during an interview on CNN on Wednesday.
