One person was killed and two more were injured in a shooting at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas, the morning of Sept. 24, officials said.
Officers responded to calls at about 6:40 a.m. local time and determined that a shooter fired at the ICE building from an adjacent building, the Dallas Police Department said in a statement. The suspected shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said.
The two injured were transported to a hospital and a victim died at the scene, police said.
Officials are expected to provide more information at a news conference later in the day, police said.
