This September has been very "streaky". We started out with a long stretch of cooler days and a long taste of fall. That was immediately followed up by a round of warmth that came to an end this week. Highs on Tuesday stayed in the upper 60s in Milwaukee and low 70s for most of the rest of the area.

Those were our coolest temps in a week and a half and ends our streak of above average highs at nine days from August 14th to the 22nd.

With all of the cool then warm temps, overall this September is still cooler than average. The average temperature of 64.8 degrees right now is about a degree and a half
