OAK CREEK, Wis. — The City of Oak Creek planning commission approved the 73,372-square-foot Buc-ee's on Tuesday, a travel-center chain best known for its Texas-sized convenience stores and numerous gas pumps.

The store will be Wisconsin's first Buc-ee's location, situated at the intersection of S. 27th Street and W. Elm Road near I-94.
