The Sportsman Channel brought its national hunger-fighting initiative to Phillipsburg.

The “Hunt.Fish.Feed.” campaign supplied meals to dozens of people on Monday at the Phillipsburg Housing Authority community room, just one week after doing the same in Fort Stewart, Ga.

Executive Chef Paul Comes, a well-regarded wild game chef from Pennsylvania, oversaw kitchen operations and volunteers prepared dinner service for roughly 115 people.

The menu featured venison tacos, southwest coleslaw, fresh fruit salad and dessert from local bakery “For the Love of Cupcakes.”
