The program collects and distributes new and gently used children’s winter outerwear to help ensure local kids stay warm during the colder months. Article content

Community members can support the initiative by donating new or gently used coats, snow pants, hats, and mitts in all sizes, or by making a monetary contribution.

Donations can be dropped off year-round at Quinte West Fire Station 1, located at 49 Dixon Drive in Trenton.

In 2024, the Coats for Kids program distributed more than 550 coats throughout the Quinte West community.
