Car buffs and fitness enthusiasts will have plenty to look forward to in Chesterfield Township Saturday.

The 14th annual North Gratiot Cruise runs all day with the epicenter in the Value City Furniture and Kohl’s parking lot at 50550 Gratiot Avenue, just south of 23 Mile Road.

The morning kicks off with the Chesterfield 5K run and 1K walk. The course is USATF-certified, and runners will be competing for cash prizes:

• 1st place male and female: $500 each

• 2nd place male and female: $250 each

• 3rd place male and female: $100 each

• All winners also receive Hanson’s gift cards

Every participant receives a commemorative T-shirt, medal and post-race refreshments.

Registration is $30 for adults, while the 1K walk is free, making it accessible for all ages and fitness levels.
