LOGAN - Once again Utah State University is continuing the Aggie Advantage Grant for Fall 2026, reaffirming its commitment to making higher education accessible and affordable for all students.

This initiative rewards new incoming students who take the crucial step of submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA.

Beginning Fall 2026, USU will use the Student Aid Index (SAI) — a metric introduced by the U.S. Department of Education — to determine eligibility for the grant.

All incoming students who complete their FAFSA by the Feb. 1, 2026 deadline will automatically receive a $500 Aggie Advantage Grant, regardless of their eligibility for federal aid. Those with an SAI of 8,000 or less will receive an additional $500 grant, for a total award of $1000.
