The latest cable news network ratings showed significant gains across the board as coverage of Charlie Kirk ‘s assassination dominated the airwaves on MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, and beyond.

According to AdWeek , citing Nielsen’s ratings for the week of September 8, Fox News averaged 3.061 million total viewers and 418,000 viewers in the key Adults 25-54 demo during primetime. This was up a massive 55% in total viewers and 155% in the demo compared to the week before.

In total day, Fox News averaged 1.814 million total viewers and 235,000 demo viewers. This was up 41% in total viewers and 99% in the key demo.

Fox News also held 14 out of the 15 spots of the most-watched cable news shows of the week, with The Five remaining at the top with 4.431 million total viewers at 5 pm ET. The netw
