HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - During a Wednesday morning news conference, Governor Jim Pillen recognized seven providers as the inaugural Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) in Nebraska.
Implementing the CCBHCs model in Nebraska is an initiative to enhance access to the highest standard of behavioral health care and enable providers to incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment.
CCBHCs are an innovative solution to offering Nebraska communities increased access to comprehensive physical and behavioral health services.
In May 2023, Gov. Pillen supported and signed LB 276, the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Act , which launched the implementation of CCBHCs throughout the state.
