HOPE/COLUMBUS, Ind. – Two big community parties are set for this weekend in Bartholomew County.

The first-ever Columbus Oktoberfest is this Friday, September 26, from 4 to 10 p.m., on Third Street near the Crump Theatre. The free, family-friendly festival hopes to start a new tradition for the city. Enjoy local beer, bratwurst, polka music, and fun contests for all ages.
