CHICOPEE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – A man, who was reportedly involved in the shooting of a Springfield police officer, has been arrested again.

Chicopee Police said an investigation into the alleged distribution of illegal narcotics at a Nonotuck Avenue residence had been conducted by local, state, and federal authorities. They noted that the target of the investigation, Alberto Torres, had been released on probation following his alleged involvement and arrest in connection with the 2024 shooting of a Springfield police officer.
