CVS is closing another Baltimore location, its third in the city this year, as part of a broader national downsizing effort by the drugstore chain.
The downtown store, which has operated for more than a decade, sits on the ground floor of a 304-unit residential development spanning an entire block.
According to reports, all prescriptions from the store will be transferred to the nearby CVS Pharmacy at 630 Exeter Street.
This closure follows two others earlier in 2025, one in Federal Hill in April and another in the Belair-Edison neighborhood in July.
CVS now has 15 remaining locations across Baltimore, according to company spokesperson Mike Thibault.
The Baltimore shutdowns reflect a larger wave of store closures sweeping the country.
In 2021, CVS announced plans to close nearly 900
